Viral outbreak leaves NFL club homeless for training camp

TEMPE, United States - As if the - NFL Football -
Arizona Cardinals' do not have enough problems, a viral outbreak has left them homeless for training camp six days before they start preparing for the National Football League season.
The Cardinals, coming off a difficult 6-10 season, announced here Monday that they have decided to move their pre-season workouts from Northern Arizona University because of an outbreak of Norwalk virus at the Flagstaff campus. - NFL Football -
"Since becoming aware of the situation, we've spent a considerable amount of time in discussions with the university officials, outside health professionals and our own medical personnel to determine the best course of action," said Tod Graves, the Cardinals vice president of football of operations. - NFL Football -
"The overwhelming concern obviously was the health and well-being of our football team."
Rookies and veterans are set to report Sunday. Just where is uncertain.
Last week, several people at summer youth camps at the school were exposed to the highly contagious norovirus and about 100 people have been affected. - NFL Football -
School officials canceled all remaining summer conferences at the university planned for the next month.
